FAQ's
-
What are the products made of?Our pieces are individually and carefully handmade from a composite eco friendly material that contains no solvents and VOCs like regular resins. To create our beautiful colors we use a range of pigments outsourced from around the world. Most of our color tones, hues, and shades are hand-mixed from various colors, making each piece unique.
-
How do I take care of my product? Our pieces are sealed and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Using any harsh cleaning products or harsh scrubbing will damage the finish of your piece. We also advise to wipe up any strong contaminants such as wine, tea or coffee as soon as possible. Our products are water resistant, however they're not waterproof; therefore refrain from submerging your pieces in water or leave standing water on them for prolonged times. You may polish your pieces as needed with some coconut oil and a polishing cloth.
-
How do these products feel like?Smooth to the touch and comparable to stone texture. Heavier than traditional resin products, and similar to the look of concrete but lighter, smoother but still very durable.
-
Are there chips on the pieces or do they have air bubbles?Due to the nature of the material and making process there will be some air bubbles on the surface of our products and on the edges, but we try our best to limit these as much as possible. With all products being handmade this isn’t always guaranteed. Please rest assured that these minor imperfections do not affect the resistance of the piece.
-
What types of finishes and styles do you make?We mainly create terrazzo finishes, true to our name Trazzo. Terrazzo involves embedding broken chips of stone, glass, and other materials into a mix, which is then hand-sanded and polished to reveal the beautiful chips. We also offer a marble finish, achieved by swirling different shades into the mix for a marble-like effect. Our gold leaf designs use high-quality gold, including 24k gold leaf flakes. Additionally, we create pieces with a splatter effect, using brush strokes for a painted look. These are the usual finishes and styles in our collections; however, we're constantly adding limited pieces with different new and unique styles.
-
Why are there variations in patterns and colors? There are many factors that affect the final result of our products. Most pieces are made to order or done in small quantities by hand to reduce waste. Therefore, slight variations in colors and patterns will occur within the same product listing. We do try our best to keep everything as close as possible however these variations emphasize the handmade and unique nature of our products.
-
Is the product dishwasher / microwave friendly?Although our products are sealed with a sealer making it water-resistant, they are not dishwasher or microwave safe.
-
Are your products waterproof? All our products are sealed with a food safe, solvent free, non-toxic sealer making it water-repellant, but not waterproof.
-
Are your products food-safe?Food-safe means it can come in contact with food and not create a food-safety hazard. Although our products are sealed with a food-safe sealer, they are not meant to eat food off of them.
-
Can I resell your items?Definitely! we offer private label and wholesale orders. Private label means we develop unique colors and patterns to suit your needs. Wholesale orders are unbranded so you may add your own label. Please note special discounts and sale items do not qualify for custom or wholesale orders.
-
